Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows movie

Hey everyone! Just want to tell you all that the newest Harry Potter movie, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, comes out in November! It is going to be split into 2 parts. Watch the movie trailer by looking it up online! It looks epic!

Planning a Trip to Wisconsin Dells

I am planning a trip to go to Wisconsin Dells. The trip will take about 1 hour and 20 minutes. I will take my mom, dad, sister, and one of our family friends. At the dells, I would go to Noah's Ark during the day, and then go to the Tommy Bartlett show in the evening. Then we would stay overnight in a rented cabin and then go to Mt. Olympus and mini golfing the next day. I would like to go to Wisconsin Dells because it has the waterparks, which is great during summer. The Tommy Bartlett show is very interesting, with magic tricks and comedy. I also love roller coasters and rides. We would take our Chrysler minivan for the trip. For the trip, what my family and I will bring inlude: flip flops, swimsuits,a camera, sunscreen, and changes of clothes. This is a fun trip that I would love to take.

Tech-ed. Summer School Class Conclusion

Sadly, it's the end of my summer school tech-ed. class. :( I learned a lot from this class. I learned about how bridges are needed to be constructed properly in order to work. I also learned how to contruct a weblog (blog) and more about GPS navigation. My favorite part of this class was going to the Pike Lake State Park and geocaching. There wasn't anything I didn't like in the class. The only thing I didn't like was finding nothing on our first geocaching trip to a couple of parks. Somebody must have moved or taken them, but it was still fun trying to find the geocaches with my friends. For the rest of the summer I might go on vacation and maybe take a trip to Wisconsin Dells. I am also taking volleyball and I am in the tennis team. This summer school tech-ed. class has been a very fun and interesing experience. Have a great summer!

My Prediction

Before I did my balsa wood bridge expiriment, I thought that it would hold about 80 to 90 pounds.

What I Learned

I learned a lot about bridges the past two weeks. It takes a lot more than just strength for a bridge to work. It needs to have equal weight distribution, which means it needs to be balanced. The structure would most likely collapse if one side was recieving more stress than the other. The composition of the bridge also needs to be precise. If one piece of the bridge isnt attached firmly or in the right location, it could cause problems for the entire bridge. A bridge needs to be almost perfect for it to be safe.

What i am doing this weekend.....

This weekend I'm going to be going to a family friend's house and shopping.
